The very first thing that happened to me was before I even left home. I lost my very first tooth!!

How many of my friends in Newport have also lost a tooth?

Getting ready to Leave

I work with my books in the computer center I use the computer in the computer center Before we left Newport, my grandma got books and cards for me to do my school work.

Leaving my Mommy and Home

My grandma and I had to get up very early in the morning.
My grandma drove all the way to Nashville where I saw the airport and many airplanes.

Have any of you left your mommy to stay with your grandma?
Were you scared also?

Flying on an Airplane

This is like the plane we flew in Then we had to go though security before getting on the airplane.
They had us do very funny things like take off our shoes. This was to make sure that we would all be safe.

We got on the airplane. We drove down the run way (its like a car driving down the street).
THEN the wheels of the airplane lifted off the ground and we were flying!! That was my first time flying on an airplane.

How many of my friends in Newport have also flown on an airplane?

I flew above the clouds clouds I could see the buildings and I was higher than the trees, then I was higher than the mountains of Tennessee!!!

THEN I was in the clouds, I think I saw an angel in the clouds. I like flying very much.

We had to land the plane in Miami and then we flew from Miaimi to Nassau. It is a city in the Bahamas.

The Hotel

We walked into the hotel and it was the biggest room I have ever been in.

We are staying at a very big hotel. They have many things here: they have an ocean, a beach and many things to do for children.

But I have to go up and down on the escalator.

At first I was scared, but now I can go up and down the escalator.

How many of my friends have been afriad of riding an escalator or elevator?

The Ocean

My first time in the ocean My first time on the beach The first time I saw the ocean I was very scared.

The first time I went into the ocean, I only went in with my feet.

But my grandpa brought me deep into the ocean.

How many of my friends have been in the ocean?

There are fish and plants in the ocean and it was warmer than the swimming pool.

The Swimming Pool

Here I am in the swimming pool My grandpa and I under the waterfall There is a very big swimming pool at the hotel.
It has a waterslide and a waterfall.

The first time I went down the waterslide I was scared, but now I think it is fun.

I also like putting my head under the waterfall.
